01 June 2006 - Tyto Wetlands Interpretive Centre

A 1.2 million dollar Tyto Wetlands Interpretive Centre will be constructed later this year, giving visitors valuable information on the importance of wetlands. Over 100 species of birds nests (disused) will be on display in the centre as well as Twitchers' Corner - an area dedicated to birdwatching, which will include a life-size cutout of John Young. If you're planning to visit the Tyto Wetlands, Motel Ingham is a great place to stay and is within walking distance of Tyto Wetlands.
