18/10/07 - August Desert Trip Gallery

On a trip to Western Queensland John Young took over 2000 photographs of the amazing wildilfe of the area. This gallery includes just a small selection, but includes shots of the 200 000 strong flock of Flock Bronzewings featured in the Courier Mail.

03/04/07 - James Cook University Field Trip

Dr. Richard Rowe and a group of students from James Cook University ventured out with John Young on a field trip to learn of the flora and fauna of the Townsville region. The annual field trip is a great opportunity for John to share some of his extensive knowledge of Australian wildlife with the James Cook University students. They were even treated to a rare sighting of a Lesser Sooty Owl.
