07/07/08 - Savannah Cat Threat

The Federal Department of Environment is currently assessing the suitability of importing the Savannah Cat into Australia. The Savannah Cat is a cross between the Domestic Cat and the Serval, a wild African cat. The importation of this cat into Australia poses a significant risk for our already vulnerable wildlife.
